Donut Seeds

Donut Seeds

Howdy Folks:

A year or two ago we had a discussion going on the proper way to sprout Donut seeds. Several SFG'ers have at one time or another tried to sprout them and most have not had any success and wound up eating the seeds in milk.

Any suggestions?

Everyone forgets that donut seeds are warm season and must be germinated at room temperature.

So, if I plant the seed known as a donut hole, and I can get it to germinate, how many full sized donuts should I be able to harvest? Razz Oh, do I assume 1 per square?

I harvested an entire crop of donut holes 3 summer ago in my row garden, which is why I'm SFG today.
