Our Urban farm featured in local publication

Post  ribarr4 on 6/4/2011, 12:39 pm

I am excited and proud. Terrie (my wife) and our urban farm were featured in a local publication for this month.

Congratulations. I logged onto your site and found it very interesting.

Wish we were allowed to raise chickens in our community but we have too many NIMBY types. Sad

Great article. I enjoyed reading it.
Congratulations on wife being cancer-free after 7 years.
I think organic, healthy food can do wonders for our health.
I just added your blog to my SFG blog entries.
Good luck.

Sorry, this is something that is weird about how the home page works right now, but you have to click on the title of the article and then you should be able to click on the pic or the word and then it should open.

Here is a direct link:

I clicked on your link and got a page that said I had to subscribe to this feed? I don't know what that means.

I'd love to read the article, though. I would love any advice for getting to it.

Just try again. I have heard that the server the magazine is on has had issues. Sorry for the difficulty.

I got it too. Great article - Good for you taking your food into your own hands! I've been reading a lot about the 'western diet' and all the health problems that go with it in populations that adopt it. What you are doing is a great example of eating as a lifestyle - not a diet. Do you have pictures posted somewhere of your gardens and greenhouse?

Ooh! I'd love to see more pictures!

My daughter is transferring to VU in the fall... 20 hour drive from here - yikes.
