My teeny farm in NH

Post  bevmouse on 6/16/2011, 9:22 pm

Have grown from 2 pots on the deck to 84 square feet but I'm still very much a newbie to gardening with my teeny farm. I don't know anyone who gardens and I am looking to learn as much as I can

Hi, and welcome to the forum. Watch for posts by camprn. She lives in NH and has forgotten more about gardening than I'll ever know!

glad you\'re here

I have seen women looking at jewelry ads with a misty eye and one hand resting on the heart, and I only know what they're feeling because that's how I read the seed catalogs in January - Barbara Kingsolver - Animal, Vegetable, Miracle

In no time at all you will learn an incredible amount about SFG here on this forum. So many wanting to help. In my first couple of months I reckon I learned an average of one new thing a day.

I'm fairly new to the forum myself, but not to SFG or gardening in general. However, no matter how long you garden, you'll always continue to learn. Good luck! Can't wait for pics!

So nice to have you join us.

Have you had a chance to read ALL NEW SQUARE FOOT GARDENING yet? It really has so much information for someone new to SFG. The book has so many tips for beginners on preparing Mel's Mix and how and when to plant.

Keep us posted on your progress and please post picture, because we enjoy them so much.

Again, Welcome.
