Hello all!

Post  ltrapp on 6/21/2011, 10:39 pm

I'm from Illinois, and have started "playing" with the idea of a square foot garden. I love the concept of the SFG, and have implemented the concepts into my own garden. I must admit, till I actually bought the book I was running on piecing information from magazines, and off the internet. So glad I finally found the book and this forum! Looking forward to learning from and talking with all of you!

Well, now you can get moving on your discovery. This place, along with the book, will teach you more than you need to know about SFG'ing. The people are friendly, and we love to brag through our pictures. I've learned more through pictures and asking questions than I ever could by reading.

Get in and get active! It's great to have another from the Land of Lincoln. And, don't forget to stop by the regional forum, too.

Once you have a chance to read the ALL NEW SFG book, you'll realize that it is not full of suggestions to amend your current gardening techniques. In fact, you'll realize that it's an invitation to start from scratch and leave your old school gardening methods in the dust. My fingers are crossed that you opt to start gardening the 'easy way' aka SFG.
