Interesting Vid Find

Post  choksaw on 3/28/2010, 12:51 am

Not really about gardening more along the lines of a behind the scenes look at patti moreno the gardening girl watching her videos is what originaly got me started on the idea of raised beds and im glad i found out about SFG. Kind of a funny video that brings hollywood down to earth in a manor of speaking.

I watched that video, and the site recommended another video after that about a family that grows 6000 pounds of produce a year on their 1/10 city plot. And guess what, they use SFG. They made a documentary about them for film festivals. Here is the link to the documentary http://www.homegrown-film.com/ and here is their website is http://urbanhomestead.org/. Very interesting!

Awesome vid, thanks for sharing! I would love to be able to live off the land. We all have to start somewhere and that is what we are all doing here, right!

That is what I wanted when I was younger. Life got in the way. We are Slllloooooly starting again at our new place but doubt it will ever reach that level ($$). Still a girl has got to have a dream and a goal.

Deborah ....loves the vision.
