New to SFG...Help with seeding indoors for fall planting

Post  jcarr on 7/9/2011, 11:12 am

I am attempting to germinate some seeds to use in my first fall garden. I followed the plans in the latest SFG book, by putting the seeds on top of moist vermiculite. My question is this....Do I need to continue adding water to the bottom tray so that the vermiculite stays moist or was the original wetting of the vermiculite enough?thanks

I would probably keep the bottom tray filled.
