My 2nd year SFG, with tabletops

This is an overhead view from my upstairs window. It's the only way to get a picture of the entire thing. This was taken shortly after I first planted everything in mid May-June.



And here it is a few days ago.



Here's an early pic of my new 3X8' tabletop boxes.



And this one I just took today.



I'm tempted to label them, "The tomatillos that took over the world!" Shocked The only thing I've really had a problem with this year has been my peppers. All of them, except maybe one, seem to be diseased. I can't figure out what the problem is. The leaves continue to spot, curl, and fall off, even though the new growth looks great. Frustrating. Other than that though, it's been a good year for the garden.

That is a lovely oasis to sit in and enjoy. Something like what I will aim for next year.

Now I know why you left plenty of space when you set it up. Sometimes it is hard to visualize the result, at least is is for me.

cheers ohhh...so pretty!!!

my hubby said he will put legs on our SFG box's....but...he is worried about the weight of the dirt....is there a way to get a pic of the bottom of the box's What a Face LOL

search on tabletops or TT and check out Boffer's instructions on bottoms for the boxes.

My hardware cloth and plastic to hold the MM on mine and the Pond Gardens at my son's house are hardware cloth and weedblock. They are 4x4 and have a middle support.

love the tabletops!

hi everyone
i'm new to the forum, from Australia. i just started learning about the SFG. after years of dreamingof my own garden and buying lots of garden books, to successfully growing a few parsley and coriander plants from seed a couple for months ago, i started veggie gardening proper about a month ago and am completely addicted. now i am planting virtually any seed and seedling i can get my hands on (that i am keen to eat!) but i am rapidly running out of space so i think tabletops would be a fabulous idea. now i know what i want for my birthday... Very Happy
