I just wanted to drop a line to say hi. My first experience with SFG was back in the early 90s and it was a lot of fun, even though I was growing stuff that I didn't care to eat (okra, but my wife loves it!). After a loooong break, I'm looking forward to get back into gardening and to learn from ya'll!
Have you read the ALL NEW SQUARE FOOT GARDENING book? Making and using Mel's Mix is SO much easier than amending the soil! If you don't have it, get it - it is a must read for the returning SFG'er. Takes even more work out of the gardening experience.
