Hello! New From Morganton, NC

Post  Just Jess on 8/7/2011, 9:32 pm

Just saying Hello. I have just started SFG this year, and it is going fairly well. My garden is pretty big, 30ft x 50 ft and my boxes are 4' x 8' each. This is a market garden for next year. I still have a lot of work to do. But, it is coming along.

Welcome to the group! WOW! That's a large area. You are going to get a TON of produce out of that space! I am having box envy.....

Thank You!

Don't have box envy just yet. I'm still getting it all together. It is only half boxed right now, 8 boxes 4' x 8', the others (11 more) are still just raised beds. I really want to get them done this year so I can get out of the clay. I have done a lot of soil amending, and it is a lot of work. I am looking forward to easy soil.
