Hi back to you in Arcadia

Post  paulpaluszak on 8/27/2011, 7:04 pm

I lived in Cape Coral for 20 years and never garden there due to the heat. I did have a mango tree and several papayas and did pineapples but anytime I tried a real garden it was a failure.

Now in Lawrenceville GA I get all 4 season and in my 2nd year of gardening and started with SGF and am having more successes than failures.

Welcome, mhjr5500!!!!

I'm so glad you've decided to join us. There are several frequent posters who garden in Florida, so hopefully, you'll get lots of good advice and ideas if you post questions! There are lots of friendly folks on here who love sfgardening and love to "talk" about it!!! I hope to see you around the forum!

mhjr5500, So glad to have a new member from my region. Have you read Mel's new SFG book? I know you will find it so much easier than the old way. If you are going to have a fall garden what do you plan on growing? We love pics too so if you can please post some.

Really glad to have another member join us. Since you are new to SFG, I hope you keep us posted on your progress. We have other members in various parts of FL and they may be able to help if you have questions.

Again, Welcome!
