Hi,
I’m a bit late getting this out to you, sorry ‘bout that! What are you planning to plant this month?? Here are some things that are good for our area, according to the online site. Remember, here in north Modesto we have this wonderful micro-climate that allows us to plant things that do well in the more coastal areas too. The moisture we get from the Delta breezes help so much!

Here are the suggestions for September:

Beet Root/Beets Plant in garden.
Harvest from December.

Broad Beans/Fava Beans Plant in garden.
Harvest from January.

Broccoli Plant in garden.
Harvest from December.

Cabbage Plant in garden.
Harvest from December.

Carrot Plant in garden.

Cauliflower Plant in garden.
Harvest from February.

Chicory Plant in garden.
Harvest from February.

Chinese Cabbage Plant in garden.
Harvest from December.

Chives Plant in garden.
Harvest from December.

Collards Plant in garden.
