Square Foot Gardening Forum

Hello Guest!
Welcome to the official Square Foot Gardening Forum.
There's lots to learn here by reading as a guest. However, if you become a member (it's free, ad free and spam-free) you'll have access to our large vermiculite databases, our seed exchange spreadsheets, Mel's Mix calculator, and many more members' pictures in the Gallery. Enjoy.

Let us be the first to say Hello!

Post  boffer on 3/29/2010, 7:14 pm

Welcome,

You've come to the right place to learn more about Square Foot Gardening. Whether you're contemplating starting, or you're an old hand at it, you'll find lots of folks here ready and willing to share their experience, knowledge, and opinions. We maintain a family friendly forum because SFG is the perfect method to introduce children to gardening.

Our forum content is continually growing as members discover and share new resources that make SFG even more convenient. Currently, most of the gardening talk forums can be seen listed on the top of this (index) page. Be sure to scroll down the page to see our regional forums in the U.S., and below them, the international forums. These forums were created to help you connect with other gardeners in climates similar to yours, to discuss more localized information such as weather, pests, and retailer sources.

Be sure to say hi, and remember, we really enjoy looking at pictures that members post. Our new software makes posting pictures and videos about as easy as it can be. There are simple, clear instructions posted in the 'How To' forum.

Happy Gardening!

Hi!

I am Boffer's successor as the Administrator of the forum. I also want to welcome you and say hello!

We are glad you are here and we welcome all your questions and any input you can offer. Everyone has something to add that can be helpful to another member! Even the newbies!

Remember when you search to try different search words because our search function searched the titles of posts not the body.

Remember to read the Terms of Service before you post.

Remember that gardening can be as simple or as complicated as YOU choose....Mel's book makes it all as simple as it can be....and we as humans add the complication to taste.

The most important thing is that you are getting from your gardening experience what YOU want from it.

HAPPY GARDENING...we look forward to you being a part of our wonderful SFG family!
