Newbie from San Antonio, TX

Hello to All!

I have been lurking around the forum's since winter and I am so excited to be an Urban Gardener. I live in an Apartment and I wanted a garden with Veggies and dwarf Fruit trees, currently I have a Morro Blood Orange tree and a Meyer Improved Lemon. Last year was my 1st try at planting anything, I did so so. This year I am out to perfect my skills (work in progress of Course..LOL!) with the SFG method. So I trotted on down to Home Depot with my book in tow, told the fellas what I wanted to do, they kinda looked at my crazy but were very helpful. I bought a drill, well two the Black n Decker was whack! So I went for the Ryobi and finished my beds in no time. I have two 1x4's and a 2x4 along my bannister and my trees and trying some strawberries as well. So here goes another year of fun in the Sun! See you all out there and yes I will probably have plenty of questions. (My son tells everyone I am like a Mad Scientist on the patio- )
So a great big Holla frm TX!

I'm just like a fish. Sitting here with baited breath waiting to help answer your questions. Seriously, a warm and wonderful welcome to the forum. If there is anything we can do to help you be the "golden girl of gardening success" please ask. We are a friendly group of gardeners whose experiences in gardening and in life itself are from just starting out to some older folks like me who have been around a time or two. So if we can help, ask. If you can help someone else please jump in and post an answer or opinion.
