Frost tomorrow night

Post  Mamachibi on 9/30/2011, 6:51 am

Our first frost of the season is scheduled for tomorrow night. Shocked I have a couple bedsheets ready to pin around the tomato and snap pea plants, but I assume the lettuces, kale, carrots, beets, radishes, mustard and spinach will be okay.

Funniest thing. The weather service sent me an email saying that the first frost is expected tomorrow (a full month before our zone map) but that it would be back up into the 80's next week! Fall is bipolar.
