It means "hi" in Japanese (no I'm not Japanese I just study their language).I just registered today and am new to this forum and to square foot gardening. Nice to meet people here, and nice to be on this forum.

Hi!

I clicked on this topic because I knew it was the Japanese hello! I'm not from there, nor do I study their language. My brother taught me (he lived there for a bit and studied their language in college). Odd thing is, said brother is now living in Michigan - which I can see now is where you're living. Small world.

Nice to meet you! Welcome to the forum.

Feistywidget (love the name)! I'm so glad you've decided to join us! Do you have a sfg already? Have you read the All New Square Foot Gardening book? If not, it would surely be a good idea to get it! It's a great help.

Please feel free to post any questions or concerns here - people just love to help each other. We'd also love to hear about your experience so far with sfgs. Keep posting & I hope to see you around the forum!

Okay, I'll admit it. I clicked on the post because of the title. I knew it was Japanese. My family and I spent 11 years in Japan. We also now live in Michigan. Very Happy Unfortunately, along ways from you. We're in Southeast Michigan, in Waterford, about 38 miles northeast of Detroit.

Welcome to the forum!!
