not exactly a "how to" set of pictures, but on the inside

There are long beds and another bent cattle panel with plastic over it

and this picture was taken end of January, Eugene oregon, so plenty of sub freezing temps but great harvest

Fast forward to Canada this last summer, we have made more rudimentary hoop houses just to get the tomatoes planted that few weeks earlier.
These ones we just bent over the edges of a raised bed and added plastic

@GWN wrote:OK I get to the part where I highlight the file, then copy, then do I push "upload", because if I just push copy nothing happens and if I push upload, it all disappears and a new box comes up starting all over again??

This is where I have to hit the host button again. Then paste into my post. Often have to hit upload to clear the copied picture in order to post another one.

Total sequence host, browse, copy the middle one, host, paste. then sometimes upload, host, browse etc.

Although the hoop house materials turned out to be more expensive than I thought at Big Orange, the structure was a snap to construct. I had to purchase a 12' x 25' roll of 6mm plastic sheeting, which I cut in half (and was still too big!).

It's supposed to go down to 36 tonight, so I guess I'll get to use it again!

WOW that is cold
the pictures of the cattle panels are from Eugene Oregon.
We used to have a place up at Sun River, I guess you are at a high elevation up there.
Would be great to see pictures of your hoop house, and by big orange, do you mean home depot?

Yes, that's one nickname for HD. I've seen people on the forum use Blue and Orange in lieu of the actual company names.

I'll see about taking a picture of the hoop house later today and transfering it to the computer.

Actually, Sun River generally is much colder than my area, which is considered to be in a "banana belt." The elevation is around 3600'.
One of my avid-gardener neighbors recently warned me that we do get deer in the neighborhood during spring and fall, but I suspect it's a relatively rare occurrence.

GWN,

Although this isn't a good picture, here's my first attempt at building a hoop house:
