Cucumber worms

Post  yuliad on Mon 17 Oct 2011 - 16:57

Ok,
I think I got cutting worms under control, now I have green worms on my cucumbers.Few of them were big, but the rest are still little. They are almost impossible to see.
I also have some kind of caterpillars/worms inside of my corn plants and whole bunch of tiny green bugs on the back of my okra and on the stems of my green beans.
I am spraying my garden with Triple Action Plus Ferti-lome and DE.
What else can I do to make these bugs disappear? I think I read that someone is using some kind of garlic spray...
I don't want insects to take over my garden thinking
Please Help!!! Sad

I seem to remember something about a dropper of mineral oil in the silks of the corn - where the silks enter the tight green husk. The idea is to suffocate the worm. It is a corn earworm. I dislike them but usually they only do damage to the rows closest to the tip on the ear.
