$8.00 4 Cu Ft Vermiculite found

Post  WardinWake on 10/31/2011, 7:01 am

Howdy Folks:

One of our gardeners has posted a new entry in the Vermiculite Database for Huston, TX. $8.00 for a 4 Cu Ft bag. That is the best price I have seen posted anywhere. Check it out. Also there is an entry for Wyoming that lists a 16 Cu Ft bag for $15.95. Can anyone verify that price?

God Bless, Ward and Mary.

It looks like the place is called Vermiculite Products Inc

Be sure to let us know what you find out. As you can see from the other prices listed, $8/4cf is a price that's almost too good to be true.

I think it maybe $18.00? It is the freight that bumps up the price, perhaps the supplier has bought a couple of tons of the stuff and needs to shift it? But I hope that is the price for some some lucky SFGers.Very Happy

I just called the Houston site, and yes, it's actually $7.90 for a 4 cu foot bag! they don't ship, but man, that's a deal!! I'm way too far away to use it, but all you people in Houston should take advantage!! cheers cheers

newstart...go to the home page, and there is a calculator there somewhere...it'll give you just the numbers you're looking for! The place sounded kind of hard to find, so you might want to call first, but sounds like it'll be worth the effort! wish they were closer...I'm in California! lol

That's an incredible price! If I was in that area I would stock up for sure. I paid a bit over $30 here for four cf, which was cheap in these parts. Shocked
