Hi from Northern Virginia

Post  Dreams Big on 10/31/2011, 4:58 pm

I have found a treasure trove on this site. I've already learned so much and feel as if the feast has already begun and I haven't planted anything yet.

Welcome to the forum from a former Fairfax lady. My daughter lives in Western Loudon County and I'm up that way frequently. You will love not having to deal with the No. VA red clay.

You will enjoy SFGing in Northern VA. I lived there for most of my life until moving to the mid-west and then the Oregon Coast.

Please be sure you read ALL NEW SQUARE FOOT GARDENING before you set up your new garden. Start out doing things according to the method, right from the beginning. You will be glad you did.

Have fun and please keep us posted on your progress.
