Just saying Hi to other Georgian Newbies.

Post  mramsey on Sat Nov 05, 2011 1:07 am

Just finished SFG book myself. I have 3, 4X4, frames ready to go. The book states that Lettuce, carrots & spinach are good cold weather crops so i am going to plant a few different kinds of lettuce and carrots and see what happens. I hope to get a few radishes out the ground b4 the weather gets to bad.

I am north of Atlanta in the Marietta / Kennesaw area. I will be stopping at Pikes for my vermiculite, thanks to the forum for the scoop on where to find, on the way home Saturday morning 11/5, and hope to have seeds in the ground by noon.

Will be checking the site often to post and read reports from others beginning their SFG's. Good Luck to all.cheers

mramsey
