Thanks, Josh! I admit I tried a few on before I found this one. If I were as good looking as you, maybe I would post my pic, too. Yours is a winner!

I like the Santa one I have now pretty well, especially since it's gotten such a rave review!

Thank you Rooster!

I'll tell you a little about him. He is a gentleman, an excellent p.r. llama while being a fully intact stud too. His name is Ivy League. He is currently very busy visiting the nursing home circuit as I call it, calmly spreading cheer and patiently receiving hugs from countless nursing home residents and too many camera flashes to count. He rides the elevators to different floors, no problems, never commited an indoor "potty mistake" due to community pile behavior. If you've ever seen how llamas walk they carry themselves with an air of regal calm and dignity that people just seem to love. Then put that hat on him and he looks like he thinks he is Mr Christmas. Afterwards he simply leaps back up into the van and kush for the ride home. Kush means folding legs under them as camels do, llamas are in the camelid family...oops we're always fielding llama questions, and once I get started.......

Community pile behavior? Does this mean the herd has a special place to leave there doo instead of dropping it all over the pasture, thereby insuring you can collect easily for your gardens?

I found a mini herd of cattle near here, but because we have fairly mild winters, the cows are seldom in a barn. Their droppings are all over the pasture and the field of cotton stalks they are currently enjoying. The only way to collect is to take a bucket and tramp all over the area. I'm not up to that.

Llama momma, I appreciate your volunteering to stop talking (writing!) about your llama, I must respectfully ask you to KEEP GOING! As a horse person, once I get going I have to pay attention so I notice when my audiences eyes start to glaze over, but here it's easier - if anyone isn't interested, they can stop reading.

I am fascinated by Ivy League's visits to nursing homes. When I get old, I hope someone brings a llama to visit me! And yes, please tell us about the community pile.

I am interested too. I get the same way about chickens. However, this thread is set up for avatar discussion. Feel free to start a new thread if you wish. Very Happy
