By the light of the moon?

Post  dixie on 12/17/2011, 5:53 am

I had to pick up my granddaughters yesterday evening for the weekend & it was dark when we got home. I asked them what veggies they wanted for supper & without hesitation they yelled "your carrots".

My garden is right by the front door, so when we got home I left the car headlights on and they pulled carrots in the dark. I guess I'm doing something right.

Love your story Dixie.....head lights are the most useful winter tool, people use them for everything from softball to spotting sea turtles, and now, harvesting dinner with the grands. Awesome!
