Sidebar to the Fortunately game

Post  boffer on 12/24/2011, 4:14 pm

1. After many years, I might finally get the spelling memorized for the word 'fortunately' by the time the game is over because I insist on putting an 'e' after the 'n'.

2. Martha's going to be P.O.ed that she missed this one! That'll teach her to leave town for the holidays! Razz

Hah,
Amanda is a tiny village (pop. about 800) compared to the "big" place like Akron! But nevertheless, there's the Ohio connection.

Well, boffer, I followed right along and made the same mistake of calling them alpacas! So, I did goof, too!! And that's pretty bad, considering her name is llama momma, huh?

I even STILL wanted to spell it alpalca - that's just the way I want to keep pronouncing it! rofl

Sorry, llama momma! (But I bet alpacas are nice, too!)

Laughter is good! We all need it and I'm glad I could provide you (and anybody else) with some good laughs. Very Happy If we can't laugh at ourselves, life would be pretty sad.

Merry Christmas, all!!!

I'm here for another brief moment while my in-laws in-laws open gifts.

Boffer, I'm sorry I wasn't here to bail you out of a jam. It wasn't very Christmas-y of me. I'll try to do better in the new year.

Yes, martha, I thought I showed remarkable restraint in my reply!

Edited to add: Well, I thought you were talking about the women bullfighters remark, but I'm not so sure now - 10:22 a.m.?
