Hi Larry, to the SFG Forum. We discuss many aspects of gardening, but of particular interest is the Square Foot Gardening method outlined by Mel Bartholomew in his 2006 book All new Square Foot Gardening. This Forum is actually an extension of the SFG Foundation.
Please browse through the forum for a lot of information. There are some highlights on the home page on the left side but all the basics can be found in Mel's book.

Hi Larry ,
Welcome to a site where even the experts can learn.

That book by Mel has been quite an eye opener to me . I garden in a cool damp temperate climate if the UK yet mel's book seems to work very well even here where we get 48 inches or so of rain a year
If you havent got the book 2006 ( this issue updates all previous issues ) I offer that getting & reading a copy is about the best thing you can do so you don't end up wasting ,time ,effort and money like I did .

It's available from the site shop so there is no chance of getting the wrong book to work with ( unlike some who purchased it elsewhere Embarassed ).

Happy ANSFG & bumper crops

David

rock on rock on rock on glad you\'re here rock on rock on rock on

Finally another NM gardener in the Forum! I was starting to feel really lonely in here...NOT!!!

You'll soon find, Larry, that no matter where in the world SFGers are located that they are the friendliest, funniest, and most generous gardeners around. I don't even have my first SFG set up yet, but have learned tons from them...and from the ANSFG book, as well.
