neat! supposedly austin has the #1 Deaf school in the lower 48. that's the reason behind the move.

that and my endo says i should live in a warmer environment and my autoimmune diseases would be less difficult to manage.

Yes it is!!! It has a beautiful campus as well. If you are allergic to cedar, however, you'll find that the flare-ups tend to worsen in the Austin-San Antonio area as my poor husband finds out every time we go visitin'.

and re: cedar.

i don't know if i'm allergic to cedar. i know i'm allergic to every tree we've ever lived near, though, so it won't be a big change to be all watery and swollen everywhere come spring and fall . .. small price to pay for overall better situation for all in family.
